Partial weaving: crown and parting fill

Partial weaving is not a full wig. Your own hair still shows; the piece only fills what you need. Less coverage makes colour and the join more important.

Partial-weaving diagram: crown fill, parting, keep your own hair.

When partial weaving is enough

The aim is a little more fullness, not a whole new head of hair.

  • Parting shows scalp, or the crown looks flat.
  • You want to keep your own front hairline.
  • Very little front hair of your own: a full wig may sit better — ask us.

Colour and the join

The join shows in daylight and indoors. Mong Kok is the surest match; from overseas, send a hair close-up plus one shot by a window.

  1. Say exactly where (parting, crown, how wide).
  2. Colour: unfiltered close-up of your own hair.
  3. Once on, look down and turn — does it lift?
