Coverage, then the cut
Short hair shows the cap and hairline. Wrong coverage makes even a good cut look false.
- Need the whole head covered → a short full wig (in the men’s hub).
- Only the crown → a partial fill; don’t force a full cap.
- If you still have a front hairline, say so — avoid a hairline that sits too far forward.
Trying a short piece
Short hair cannot hide a bad join. Side light and the nape matter most.
- Sit still and align the front.
- Check both sides in light — does the cap show?
- Look down and turn: nape and above the ears.
- Match temples and nape, not only one spot on the crown.
