What it is — and is not
Heat-fibre can take a little more warmth than basic synthetic fibre, so a light straighten or set is possible. It is still not growing hair, and it is not heat-proof.
- Good when you want a stable style with a little heat-styling room.
- Not for daily high-heat irons as if it were your own hair.
- We do not use other shops’ fibre trade names. This is KAZI’s in-store heat-fibre / protein fibre.
Safer light heat
If you are unsure of the temperature, don’t guess. Low and short is safer than one hot pass. In the showroom we can tell you which piece is more heat-tolerant.
- Detangle first. Fibre must be dry.
- Use the lowest heat that works; test a small section.
- Keep the tool moving. Stop at once if fibre goes stiff, shiny, or smells burnt.
Versus a full wig
Many heat-fibre pieces are still worn as a full wig — your own hair underneath. The difference is fibre and light heat, not coverage. Coverage is still full / half / partial.
- In Hong Kong: a Mong Kok try-on is the surest check of feel and the front.
- Overseas: daylight photos on WhatsApp. Don’t decide from a yellow indoor photo only.
