How to put on a full wig

If a full wig slips, the usual cause is hair not packed in, or the front sitting too far forward or back. Four steps below. The diagram is instructional — not a product photo of a SKU.

Four-step diagram: wig cap, align the front, secure, check the sides.

Prepare

Start dry, with little product. Long hair can be a loose low tie, then flattened under a cap.

  • A wide-tooth comb, a mirror, a wig cap.
  • Keep the wig on a stand — don’t crumple the cap.

Four steps

Check the mirror after each step.

  1. Cap: front to back, all hair inside, ears and nape smooth.
  2. Align: sit the front where you want the hairline — not over the brows, not showing mesh.
  3. Secure: press sides and nape. Clips go into your hair or the cap, not onto bare scalp.
  4. Check: turn, look down, lift a bag — does it shift?

Still loose or sore

Pain is often too far back or clips too tight. Slip is often unpacked hair. If you cannot settle it, send a short WhatsApp clip or book Mong Kok.
